I have been a client of BBA since the fall of 2009. I was referred to BBA by a Clark County CPA who specializes in Washington State Sales, Use and Business and Occupation taxes, with the statement, “If I win Powerball, the first person I am calling is Barry Butcher.”

As background, I am an ex-CPA, MBA and CMA with a total of 40 years of experience in auditing, consulting, private company management, most recently as partner in a Microsoft value-added-reseller (VAR) of small-to-medium size business accounting software. My wife and I needed tax and business assistance as we personally (that is, independent of my VAR business) were making sizeable returns from hard-money lending against foreclosed residential properties.
I have worked closely with various BBA staff dealing with many matters, including defined benefit and contribution plans (recommended by BBA staff) and their related tax returns and actuarial valuations, as well as personal and Subchapter-S tax returns, and financial ledgers and reports.
